Today is day four using Crest Whitestrips Premium. They say that I should start seeing results after day 3. Thus far I haven’t seen any improvement. I have a bridge or the remnants of one, and it shouldn’t change color. So as the teeth lighten, I should see a difference in shade compared to the bridge. That is 7 applications, with 13 more to go. So still plenty of tiem to see a change.
One of my main complaints about the Crest Whitestrips is that they tend to slide around. Especially the bottom one. I salivate, and it gets slippery and changes position. I have had it slide up and over the back of the teeth. Or start to fold over on itself.
Crest has a thing on their website where you can chat live with someone, and ask questions. When I get time, maybe I will ask them about the slipping problem.
Meanwhile, I will continue to use the strips and watch for a change in color of the teeth. It could be that since my teeth are stained deep because of the tetracycline, that it may take longer than with normal non-tetracycline stained teeth.
