Well I wore the rubber bands on the side for the last 6 weeks. I kept them in nearly 24 hours a day. The only exceptions were when one broke, and I had to wait to get back to work, or to get home to replace it.
I haven’t noticed much of a change in my teeth since I started wearing the rubber bands. Especially on the teeth on the upper left side. Today my orthodontist said we were going to do something different. They glued a “button” to the inside of one of the teeth on the upper left side. They installed a little hook on one of the brackets on the outside of the bottom teeth. They gave me some super heavy duty rubber bands. I now have only a single rubber band in my mouth. It hooks on the button in the inside of the upper left teeth, and attaches to the hook on the outside of the lower left teeth. The idea is it will pull the upper left teeth out over the bottom left teeth.
