I also was treated with Tetracycline as a child. I am 51 years old and not only have my teeth been stained all my life, they are brittle and rotting from the inside-out. I have never had a nice white smile, which is all I’ve ever wanted.

You are not alone. I am 52, and have the same thing you do. Cracks showing on my yellow teeth. I had alot of ear infections when I was young. I was also wondering if tetracycline stunned my growth.

Question: Other than stained teeth, what other side effects has the medical field come upon or has there even been a study? I had this when I was 2 years old. I’m about to be 50. My teeth are stained. But they also have cracks throughout them and I of 5 girls (who didn’t have this drug) is the only one that has issues with my teeth. I’m looking now to having to crown all my teeth.
