If it doesn't spray water, how do you know your pump is working? The motor may be working, but the pump shot? Maybe something is clogged? Not sure how the fix it, short of taking it apart.

I am a hygienist and clean several ortho pts. I highly recommend using a water pik with braces. I think after seeing both electric tooth brushes and water piks used by my pts. By far water piks seem more effective. Using both together is even better idea. I do not suggest the portible model water pik though

Hey WellTeeth, I have to disagree wholeheartedly with you. A simple toothbrush is ancient technology. Sure, it is better than nothing. But when I started using an electric toothbrush, my dental appointments got so much better. Then when I started using a Waterpik, they got even better. The Waterpik helps clean stuff out from under the gum line that a tooth brush just can't reach. Or even dental floss.

I think simple toothbrush is the best but we only have to spend time and attention on the way we brush our teeth.

I bought personal dental waterpik 11/06. It is still under warrenty. Last week I through the box away thinking I save too much. The next day my water pik wasn't working. Very little water comes out the jet tip. More water is coming from handle.
It is model WP-60W. Think that is right, it has 3 jet tips. I bought it at K Mart and they said I had to contact you. What should I do. I can't live without a waterpik.
Thanks, Joan
